St. Patty's Day

Saint Patrick's Day, isnt a legal national holiday in the United States, but it is celebrated throughout the country. It is observed as a celebration of Irish and Irish American culture. Celebrations include displays of the color green, eating and drinking, religious celebrations, and parades. The holiday has been celebrated in North America since the late 18th century. I celebrated St. Patty’s Day with many friends at an Irish pub in downtown Takamatsu. Everyone was wearing green and drinking Guiness, an Irish beer.
When I was little my mother used to put green food coloring in my cereal milk. She made me believe that a famous Irish fictional character would sneak into our house at night and turn our milk green. Have you ever celebrated St. Patrick’s Day?
