Recently I went to the hospital because I got food poisoning from poultry. It was terrible and I had to miss classes for almost a week! The doctor said that many people are getting the same sickness this summer. The hospital was full when I was there and I had to sleep in the noisy emergency room my first night there. The Japanese hospital staff were very nice and made me feel as comfortable as possible. The language barrier was problematic only at first but I was able to learn a lot of new Japanese words! It was a good and bad experience. I'm all better now so I will see you all in class! Take care and be safe when cooking and eating chicken or eggs this summer!!!
