For my 30th birthday, I treated myself to a new hairdo at a cool salon in Kurashiki! Not only was exploring Okayama and Kurashiki a blast, but I left feeling so refreshed and confident. I was recently back in Okayama, but sadly the salon was closed as the stylists, a husband and wife duo, were on a trip to their hometown, which is understandable. Alas, I will absolutely have my hair done here again. I feel lucky to have found a salon with English-speaking Japanese stylists. Kaori and her husband are so cool and kind, and they put a lot of time and effort into creating their own salon. I highly recommend Luthier Atelier, located minutes away from the Kurashiki bikan district.
