Chasing Sunsets
The sun sets daily, sometimes in unremarkable fashion behind clouds and other days in flares of intense beauty that stop me in my tracks. Maybe I have summer to thank, but I have seen some stunning sunsets lately on the bi-weekly days that I am not in the middle of class during them.

The colors of this one were lovely, painting the Hazaki Hospital and Inotani river in gorgeous evening light.

The next day did not disappoint either, presenting ethereal pink fluffy clouds.

This one was moody and serene. I am always amazed at how fast the sun sets when you really watch it. In as long as it takes it to run into the apartment for my camera and back, I often miss shots like these!
Tell me I'm not the only one mesmerized by sunsets...Do you have to stop and stare when the evening sky is showing off? It's a treat for the eyes, and I can't help myself.
Don't stare AT the sun, but take time to enjoy the summer skies, okay?
