On the edge of Chinatown in Kobe I found an interesting sign. The building operates a small curry restaurant during the daytime and a card gambling establishment at night. For the daytime, the curry shop has a sign that says if any children come into the restaurant during the day, and are hungry, that the restaurant will serve them for free to help them and their families.

Quite the interesting find for me. A merchant’s gesture of kindness on display, and a way to help underprivileged families help to feed their children. It is nice to know that there is always good in the world!
