I recently started cooking by myself and enjoying the experience. I never did much cooking, but now I really have fun checking out recipes online and making the food that I am interested in.

Since I began cooking regularly, I decided that I needed a new, sharp, and effective knife to cut my meat, vegetables, etc. So, while visiting Yamaguchi Prefecture a few weeks ago, I found a small, old knife shop that had a variety of knives to choose from.

After speaking to the shop owner, I chose I knife that I thought would suit my needs. It was a bit expensive, but I am very happy I chose it. The knife is so good at cutting the food I am preparing, and it also can be sharpened regularly to keep it in good shape for years!
