Trip to Naoshima
This weekend, I went to Naoshima for the first time. I chose this island because I saw there was a cooky little bath house called "Naoshima I Love Yu" on it. "Yu" in Japanese means hot water, so it is a play on words. I included an image of the front of the bathouse below.
I also went because this bath house had a colorful, artsy aesthetic to it as opposed to the traditional Japanese aesthetic more common to bath houses.
I also stopped by a local cafe and ate some yellow curry which was very delicious. The owners of the cafe told me that Naoshima is known for its art galleries, which I was aware of, but didn't have time to visit them that day. So, I am planning to go back at some point to finally see the art galleries.
