Marathon Bike Ride through Kagawa

I have been biking all over Kagawa now for almost 2 years. It has been a challenge to go on a nice relaxing bike ride lately with all the rain we have been having. However, this past weekend there was a break in the weather for ONE day! I did the laundry then hopped on my bike. I was in the mood for a nice LONG ride, as I wanted to take advantage of the nice cloudy, cool, and rain less weather!
My destination was Kinrin Park I love the sea and knew the water would feel good on my feet halfway through my bike ride. I wanted to avoid the roads so found a back way on Google Maps that took me along the rivers, through the mountains and out to the sea! Google said it was a 43 kilometre journey, but I felt I was up to it. I've biked farther before, I just did not know this route. I could always turn my bike around and head back if it was taking too long or it was too hilly and I got too tired. But it wasn't! It was a good choice to follow the river as the terrain along a river isn't as hilly. The song lyrics, "Lonely rivers flow, to the sea, to the sea. To the open arms of the Sea.", kept singing to me during my ride!!
I made it! No GPS! The country and riverside ride was as enjoyable as the sea! What a beautiful day in Kagawa for me, and during rainy season!!
