ネイティブが教える英会話のジェムスクール☆Teachers☆

Every now and then I'll find myself speaking to a Japanese local in my area while I'm out and about. Some conversations are pretty interesting because we'll both use English and Japanese. Last night while I was at a Family Mart I was talking to someone in Japanese but I had to tell them I didn't understand them, but it was actually pretty funny. The conversation went like this, they said "Do you understand Japanese?" I replied "Sorry, I don't speak Japanese." They continued with "Wait...so you don't understand me?" I replied, "Correct I don't understand you, I'm sorry." They finished with "Oh is that so?" We both laughed at the fact that I could say "I don't understand" you in Japanese but couldn't carry the conversation further. Back to studying for me.
