Gemini Man

I saw this movie recently. You know, Will Smith is usually a hit or miss with movies, I've never seen an actor be so polarized. So yes, really happy to see that this was an out of the park home run. My fiance is an insane die hard Will fan so he recommended I watch it. So of course I started thinking, this awesome new CGi is a little wasted on Will. With a little makeup and losing a little weight - boom, there's young Will Smith! He still looks unfairly young even at 50 years old! His features haven't changed really. So with Ang Lee, though I always admire his boldness as a director, the innovation wasn't really needed.
Anyway the story is a little like Looper which came out a few years back, starring Bruce Willis and Gordon Joseph-Levitt. However, the twist is Will is acting with himself. Is this a testament to how awesome of an actor he is or is it a slight hint of narcissism? It's always hard to judge, especially actors, in situations like this. However in the end, the level of acting skill Will Smith has grown into over the years is undoubtedly displayed in this movie.
If you get a chance, check it out! It's a movie that messes with your mind and there is a whole plethora of emotions that this movie puts you through - which I always gravitate towards - on top of heart-stopping action!
What would YOU do if you had to faceoff against your younger self? And who would prevail?
