It's finally that time of year! The time when cherry blossoms start to bloom, and the weather (finally!) starts warming up. I remember when I first came to Japan; I arrived April 15th, right after all the blossoms had ended and fell for the trees. I was so disappointed!
But not this year! The wife and I set up a hanami party for this coming Sunday, the 9th. We have quite a few people who said they would join! But I am a bit worried. The weather forecast shows that it will be cloudy and rainy for most of the week, up to and after the scheduled party!
I am okay with sitting out in a bit of rain for Hanami, but my wife is not cool with it at all, and I'm sure many of the people coming would not appreciate it either. Sigh.
I hope the weather turns out okay. I want to be able to have fun this Sunday with everyone!
