Homestay club is a fun time where we get to work together on some kind of enjoyable project or activity. This week, the kids were creative: turning boring sugar cookies into beautiful and colorful masterpieces! And after all the hard work was complete...It was so delicious!
  

Can you imagine standing on top of this? Looks exhilarating and, quite frankly, terrifying! This is called Mount Roraima and it is a mountain on the borders of Brazil, Venezuela, and Guyana in South America. I couldn't even imagine trying to climb that mountain, I'm sure many thrill-seekers have though. I think what I like the most is that it's at such a high peak that you're above the clouds. I've always seen pictures of places that were high up that you're literally standing above the clouds.

Definitely want to visit places like these.

Last weekend my friend Laura and I got our eyes tested together. She needed a new prescription. I'd been told I needed glasses when I was thirteen, but my eye sight isn't so bad. I could get away with not wearing them. It's nice to have them though. Sometimes my eyes get tired. But I've already forgotten to wear them quite a few times.
