Summer Tour!
Another summer tour has come and gone. It was quite a busy time, from getting everything set-up, to the performances, to clean-up, but in the end it was all a great time. If you were not able to make it this year, well, there is always next year! I highly recommend it, you never know what may happen! This year's theme was the Olympics, and we came up with quite a number of fun activities to go along with it. All the students seemed to have a great time of it, and not to brag, but I think everyone enjoyed my rendition of "Old Macdonald" this year; they all were very enthusiastic taking part in it, and I even ended up going a little overboard by singing it longer than we were supposed to, hahaha. As always, looking forward to next year!

Cheesecake~
So whenever I have free time I like to try to do something new, which mostly involves cooking or baking. Last weekend I decided to make a no bake cheesecake. It was pretty basic except I had to add a little Canadian twist to it and add a maple syrup glaze on the top. It came out pretty good, however the texture is very different from a cheesecake that you'd normally bake. But it tasted awesome!

Dragon Festival

Last weekend I went to Mitoyo and carried the dragon with Mitoyo's International Exchange Group. It was a lot of fun. Only one of us actually new the dance, so that part was a little messy, but carrying the dragon was surprisingly easier than I thought it would be.
