Class Trip

A few weeks ago during one of my homestay classes, I decided to take the class out for a stroll to one of the local shrines next to the school. The kids were excited about it, which helped raise their spirits because the steep climb up those steps was tiring, as you can see in the picture. We all had to take a break when we got to the top. The trip was nicer than the top which was undergoing some construction. Overall, it was fun, but none of us enjoyed getting covered in spiderwebs while we were there.

White, Blue, Red, and Black

This past weekend, I had an amazing time with new friends and interesting people. In Sanuki-shi, in a small town, there is a festival held every year where the people pray to the God(s) and then later throw people into the water. It is a very interesting custom and is quite fun. This year I had the honor of being able to participate in this Matsuri. I hope to be able to invite more foreigners next year so that we can provide a more interesting uniqueness to the festival.
Thank you for reading!
