Sakaide Matsuri

A few weeks ago I went to Sakaide Matsuri with some friends. It was an amazing experience. It was unlike the other other festivals I have been to this year. At this festival, men and women were carrying large moveable shrines and taking them to the main shrine that was in the town. They would push them up in the air and a few times tossed them in the air. I would definitely go again.

P.S. Today is Sam sensei's birthday!!! Happy Birthday Sam (-:
